Sass Rigais, at 3,025 meters, is the highest peak of the Geisler group and one of the most impressive mountain tours in the region. The route leads from the Ranui parking lot along forest paths and switchbacks up to the Mittagsscharte, where the via ferrata to the summit begins. Surefootedness, a head for heights, and alpine experience are essential, as well as proper safety equipment with a climbing harness. At the top, a spectacular panoramic view opens over the Dolomites and the Villnösstal valley.
